Urich, Beatrice "Bede" With kindness of heart and the strength of spirit died peacefully on October 11, 2014, at the age of 97. Proud mother of 3 sons, Burton, Herbert (Beth) and Richard, loving grandmother of Abraham, and cherished aunt. There will be a memorial celebration for Bede on Saturday, October 18, 2014, from 5 to 10PM at the Italian Community Center, 631 E Chicago St. and Interment of ashes, non denominational, Sunday October 19, 2014, at 11AM CDT Spring Hill Cemetery 166 S. Hawley Ct. Bede was an accomplished studio artist. A founding member of NOW, her passion for social justice, politics and equal rights for women leaves behind a better community. Bede will be dearly missed by her family and extended family of magnificent friends. Contributions may be sent to the National Organization for Women.

There was no one like beautiful Bede, a truly generous, fun, and talented friend. I had a great time visiting with her in Milwaukee a few years ago, and will always think of her fondly and with love.
