I was thinking of old friends from Gainesville from the late 90´s...remembering great times with Nick and how much I genuinely just liked him and felt such positivity beaming from him. I am truly shocked to find out that he passed away. What an amazing soul. I feel lucky to have had some time around him.

Gosh, all this time and yet it is still hard to believe. You passed just before coming here to Nashville and I want you to know I think of you ALL the time fondly. I know heaven sounds a whole lot better with you up there singing, strumming and stomping with the Angels. You were such a kind human. Im grateful to have known you.

Nick, you have always been so talented, charming, sweet, and funny. You always brought a smile to my face. I attended high school / graduated with Nick. He was a great person with a wonderful personality and a joy that spread to everyone around him. I will never forget our humanities class. My prayers are with the family and friends in this time of loss. Nick will be very missed and always loved!

Happy Birthday Nic! You were an amazing person, we met a few years back when you were performing at kelly's Bleachers. You were an amazing person, always made everyone smile. I knew Nic when he was in Chasin Mason. From the first time that I saw him perform I knew there was something unique and special about him, his face lit up when he was on stage and his famous boot stomp was something else. He was an amazing musician and a great man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends, may you find some comfort in knowing that Nic brought joy to so many people. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember the time Kathy and Nick came down to NC to visit Tim and they came to our house. He was twelve and he was a very polite and nice person. Brenda was texing him last year,so we learned about Chasin' Masinon on youtube. We enjoyed watching Nick.Nick will be missed very much. I know he touched everybody's heart in some way.

Watching him perform with the acoustic guitar was something else. Glad I was at least able to see him perform one last time. Didnt know him personally but talked to him a couple times between sets while he was performing. Seemed like a great guy.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Brenda was texing Nicholas for awhile and told us about chasin'mason so I looked it up, he was very good.The last time we seen him was when Kathy brought him down to NC and Tim brought them to our house,he was about twelve. I can see by the many many people in his life that he was well liked. Once again I am so sorry and sad about this .

Ahhh Nick... We met in Nashville as strangers in a rehearsal room and crossed back into WISCO as musical brothers. I'll miss the many miles on the band bus talking about music, our dreams and keeping the faith. You were a total original. Your optimism and passion always inspired. Although we haven't seen each other in years, we'd talked some online in recent months. It is easy to believe what an amazing person Nick had become, not only because of the kind words of hundreds of friends and fans, but also because he was that kind of person from the beginning.
