I was an art student of hers in the late 60's, early 70's and owe much to her. She provided such grounded guidance both personally and professionally and by action demonstrated how to deal with whatever comes your way with a laugh and head-on, forward-thinking action. She has served as an inspiration throughout my adult life.

Lucinda was a dear friend for over 30 years, and my son's godmother. Talented, fearless, she was the model of what a School sister of St. Francis should be. I will miss her.

Sr. Lucinda is fondly remembered by the many women who had the privilege of experiencing her vast knowledge of art history and studio art at Alverno College. Thank you for all your support and encouragement.
