Michael Albrecht Obituary

Albrecht, Michael R. Peacefully passed into Eternal Life on December 15, 2011 at the age of 69 years after a long illness. Loving husband to Carolyn (nee Spiering) for 46 years. Dear father to Michael S. (Tina), proud grandfather to Cassandra and Michael L. Further survived by other caring relatives and many wonderful friends. A devoted animal lover, his cats and dogs miss him dearly. Michael's love of engines took him down many roads during his life time. He worked for Champion Spark Plug, Renault, Fiat, Yahama, Ferrari and Excalibur. He taught the fine art of mechanics to many. Michael's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Mary Jude Nursing home and Vitas Hospice Care for their loving care. It was Michael's wish that no services be held and to donate his body to the Medical College of Wisconsin. May his great sense of humor live forever in your hearts.

Reading of Mikey's passing is very sad. I will remember him fondly whenever I look at my raffia angel. The Colonel and I had many fun lunches with him and, oh, the discussions. My sincere sympathies go to Carolyn, Mike and his family.
