Gerald Stackpole Obituary

Stackpole, Gerald F. "Jerry" Left this world to join his Savior on April 7, 2013. Born June 9, 1938 in Brockton, MA. Jerry lived in many states and countries during his time in the Navy, Aerospace industry and as a director with Prison Fellowship Ministries. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Lillian Stackpole, infant brother Martin and brother-in-law Francis O'Connor. He is survived by his loving wife Lisa (nee Whitney). Proud father of Priscilla (Greg) Martin, Brendan (Maile) Stackpole and Deirdre Horton. Grandfather of Kyle, Caolinn, Misty, Sheridan, Chelsea and Sam, whom he dearly loved. Further survived by sisters Elizabeth O'Conner, Mary Ellen (Joseph) MacDonald and Kathleen (Roy) Savina, in-laws Phil and Loris Jacobs, Bill Whitney and Sandy Buchannan, nieces, nephews. Jerry was a good friend to all who knew him. Jerry touched many lives through his ministry at the N.J. State Prison and Racine Correctional Institution. His daily life was a testimony to his love for the Lord. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at Pilgrim Congregational Church 2327 N. 52nd St Milwaukee, WI 53210, on Wednesday, April 10 at 7:00 PM. Friends may greet the family at a reception at church following the services. In lieu of flowers memorials in Jerry's name can be made to Pilgrim Congregational Church or the Wisconsin Parkinson Association, 945 N. 12th St., Suite 4602, Milwaukee, WI 53233.
