Clarence Hense Obituary

Hense, Clarence A., Jr. Went Home to the Lord on July 28, 2016 at age 86. Loving husband and best friend of Carol (nee Anderson) for 65 years. Cherished father and mentor of Sharon (David) Krukar, Mark (Valerie) Hense, and Brian (Dawn) Hense. Dearest grandpa of Caroline (Brandon) Wolcyk, Nicholas, Nathan, Aaron, and Allison Hense. Special brother of John (Margie) Hense. Beloved uncle of Susan (Cory Schneider) Hense and Steven (fiancée Kari Buelow) Hense. Also loved by other relatives, many friends, and employees. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Grace Hense. A man of inspiring Christian faith, Clarence was a longtime devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. He was very active, serving as president and holding other offices and as a player and coach of the softball team and dartball team, and greatly enjoyed the preparation for and the day of the annual Lutefisk dinner. Clarence joined Midland Plastics in sales in 1959 and worked in numerous positions in the organization until becoming owner in 1990. He was Chairman of the Board up until his passing. He loved his work, and felt his employees were part of his extended family. Clarence and Carol greatly enjoyed spending time at their Door County property, many times with family, creating wonderful memories together. He was also, with Carol, a member of the Sons of Norway-Fosselyngen Lodge and the Great Lake A's Model A Club. Visitation at the Funeral Home Thursday, August 4, from 3:00-7:00 PM, and at ATONEMENT LUTHERAN CHURCH, S70 W16244 Martin Drive, Muskego, on Friday, August 5, from 2:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 3:30 PM. Private burial at Highland Memorial Park. The family wishes to sincerely thank the dedicated staff at Hales Corners Care Center for their outstanding and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorials to either The Greater Milwaukee Synod-Immanuel Urban Internship Fund, OR Groundwork Guatemala are appreciated. "Love you!"
