Evelyn Coffinger Obituary
Of Kalamazoo
Passed away Monday afternoon, September 19, 2011 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Evelyn was born March 3, 1925 in St. Cloud,
FL the daughter of the late Hans and Mary (Nelson) Winther. She enjoyed spending time with her family; playing bingo, cards, camping, and shuffleboard. On July 28, 1945 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Harlin Coffinger who preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Esther Terrell. Evelyn was very much loved and will be greatly missed by her family, which include
her children, Dick (SueAnn) Coffinger, David Coffinger, Diane (Chuck) Peterson, Debbie (Rick) Emro; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and 22 nieces and nephews. All are welcome to attend a graveside service which will be held at 10:00 o'clock Friday at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Thursday evening from
6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed
to Rose Arbor Hospice or the charity of your choice. Please visit www.langelands.com to sign the online guestbook.
