Brian Zugel Obituary

Zugel, Brian 7/13/1963 - 3/13/2021 Centerville, MA On Saturday, March 13, 2021, Brian John Zugel, loving husband and devoted father, passed away at home with his family after a long struggle with early onset dementia. Brian was born on July 13, 1963 in Allegan, Michigan, to John and Delphine (Korson) Zugel. He received his baccalaureate degree from Ferris State College where he majored in Printing Management. As a self-taught computer programmer, Brian spent 30+ years as a successful software designer, business consultant, and project manager. Brian had a passion for his family, travel, and of music and film. His quick wit, infectious smile, and hearty laugh endeared him to both his friends and family. On February 17, 1996, he married Antoinette "Toni" Williams, his love of more than 25 years. Together they raised their children, Jennie and Harrison in Centerville, MA. Preceded in death by his father, John. Brian is survived by his wife, Toni; his children, Jennie and Harry; his sisters and their husbands, Lisa (Joel) Moul, Kara (Jim) Ferris, and Janeen (Gary) Morris; his sisters- and brothers-in-law and their spouses, Mara (Tom Hilsdon) Williams, Gordon (Lisa) Williams, Mark (Lynette Walker) Williams, and Andrea (Scott) Still; and countless nieces, nephews and cousins. No funeral services will be held at this time, but a celebration of Brian's life is planned for this summer once COVID restrictions allow. Brian had a great sense of humor. He introduced me to the music of Pink Floyd, science fiction, and the world of Apple computers. He was the smartest kid in the room. I will remember him as a compassionate, kind man. Now he is a bright star in the night sky. Ad astra, my friend.
