Judy, Steve, James and Curt, I am so sorry to hear the passing of such a wonderful man. I have not kept in touch like I should have but your family has always been in my heart. He was someone that everyone admired and will be missed by thousands of people. Godd bless you all and take care. Judy, next time I come to Wichita, I will stop by. Maybe burn the trash for you. Judy and family: we are so sorry to hear the news about David. He was a gentle, kind and loving man. We are blessed to be able to call him a friend. When we would get together it never seemed as though it was only 2 - 3 times a year, he would make us feel as though we were a next door neighbor that he saw daily. We are thinking of you all.

I worked right next to David, running the gantry drill at Boeing for 5 years in the early 90's. He's one of best men I ever met. He taught me so much that has helped me over the years. I am so saddened by this news. He was such a blessing in my life.

Dear Aunt Judy, Steve, James, Curt and families:
No words can express my grief in Uncle David's passing. I am so grateful that he loved the Lord and we will all see him again one day! He was such an amazing man - kind, gentle, loving and always went quietly about doing for others. Uncle David leaves an amazing legacy. He was such a blessing to our family and will be sorely missed. I know the reunion in Heaven must have been wonderful!

Dear Judy and family,
I am so sorry that I can't be there with you in Kansas. As I was flying out the other day I was so sad and I was looking out the window thinking of Uncle David - when I saw reflected on the clouds a shadow of the plane with a full circle of rainbow around it. It was amazing! I felt it was God's special gift to me letting me know that He is taking good care of Uncle David just like He promised. I loved Uncle David so much. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

We were blessed to get to know David better over the last 3 years. We never met a kinder man who was willing to do anything for anyone. If a genuine love for others is a hallmark of the reality of the Gopsel in the lives of the believers, then it was nowhere more evident in the life of David. We were indeed priveleged to have known David.

Judy, Steve, James, Curt & Family. I was so saddened to hear of David's sudden passing. Our hearts and prayers are with you all in your journey of sorrow and loss. David was a wonderful man of God, his smile would brighten anyone's day. After you moved from Douglas st, it was so nice to see you once in a while in Wal-mart or grocery stores. Last time I saw David was at Dr. Troilo's a few months ago. Was good catching up on the family. David will always be remembered for his gentleness & kindness to all he met.

I didn't know your father, but I do know how it feels to grieve for ones father. May God surround you with His loving arms, and great memories as you not say goodbye but see you later in Heaven. All I can say is what a great guy! He was always smiling and would have done anything for anybody. I am blessed to have known him for almost 30 years. I "won" two of his wood pieces at the Burnham Reunion...they will be even more cherrished now! Our love to all of you...

Dave and Judy have been more than just neighbors, they have been our family for 13yrs. Dave was a neighbor, friend and a father figure to Mike and I.
