Dear Bonnie and Family, Monty was my pastor from 1978 to 1980, and my mentor from 1997 to 1999 while I was pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Perry, OK. He was the pastor I aspire to be: full of faith, full of hope, and full of love for God and all of God's children. During a time of vocational despair, he said to me: "Tim, you don't need a bigger church. You need a bigger vision of the church you're in!" Of couse, he was right. During this difficult time, may you all have a bigger vision of God's promises to both Monty and to us, the promise of everlasting love and everlasting life.

Bonnie and family,
I'm very sorry about Pete's passing. I have fond memories of you and Pete from when I was a kid visiting you in Oklahoma, to the support from both of you in our time of need, to being a dear friend to mom since then.
You, your family, and Pete are in our thoughts and prayers.
