I had a lot of fun with Kim when we were younger, she captured all the attention when she was around. Smart, beautiful, assertive, hard working. She had it all. I hope she is at peace now.

Ray and Anne, I am praying the loss you are feeling will eventually become bearable. You have both given so much of yourselves to take of Kim these last years and I hope you know you are an inspiration to all. I am so glad the three of you had the time together. I know there were tough times, but in the end Kim had a wonderful ending to her life being with you. Now you go from caregiver to a ton of time on your hands where your minds will wonder. When you find all the additional time, I was once told to get a journal and go back as far as I could with memories and start writing them down. It took me over a year, but the journal is a wonderful thing to reread. I cry everytime, but somehow feel comforted. I wish this lesson for you, it allowed me to write what I truly wanted to say but didn't. It was a wonderful release of feelings that sometimes get bottled up with nowhere to go. Kim was a beautiful person, inside and out. You were both wonderful examples for her to follow and live up to. She was proud of you both and she was proud of herself, so you did a wonderful job raising her. You are both in my heart and prayers, I will think of you often over the next several months. In a few months when the shock and exhausting lift a little, remember we are all here if you need to talk to someone, and have someone listen to your next level of grieving.

They that burn brightest
Often burn out too soon
But man, while they last
They sure light up the room!

Rest in peace, Kim.
