Roach, Elbert E., 87, Navy veteran and former Coleman Company employee, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Praise God, Daddy and Mother are holding hands once more! He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary. He is survived by his daughters; Charlotte (Ray) VonFeldt, Rita (Bill) Short, and LaVonda (Pat) Patterson, grandchildren; Jason Short, Jennifer Phelps, Amanda Bryant, Matthew VonFeldt, Heather VonFeldt, and Rachel Patterson, great grandchildren; Conner & Brooke Phelps, Cade & Clayton Short, Dylan & Ella Bryant, Emma & Bronson VonFeldt, sister; Christine Hendricks. Visitation, 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 19. Funeral Services, 10 a.m., Saturday November 20, 2010, both at Lakeview Funeral Home. Memorials to Hospice Care of Kansas, 750 N. So sorry to learn of the passing of your Father, Elbert. We will never forget him and how he responded to the touch of the Lord at First Assembly. Your parents were strong Christians and we have missed them at Maranatha.
