Jerry Moore Obituary

Moore, Jerry D., 78, retired Kice Industries Supervisor and Korean War Veteran, died August 16, 2011. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Sat. at Old Mission Mortuary, with viewing prior to service. Preceded in death by his parents, Hobert and Lucy Moore; brother, Jim. Survived by his wife, Phyllis; son, Jerry W. Moore of Wichita; daughter, Judy L. Moore of Wichita; brothers, Bill and Carl of Wichita, Ted of Fall River, Frank of Wichita; sister, Patsy Laster of Owasso, OK; grandchilderen, Brandi L. Morgan and Dylan Lee Moore of Wichita. Memorial contributions may be made to Westside Freewill Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.

Jerry was a great and wonderful man. He took good care of Mom when Dad died and I will always be grateful to him for the way that he watched over her until he was too sick to do so anymore. Take comfort that he is now with Jesus and suffering no more. I can only imagine... You are in our prayers. Love, Teresa
