I, too, remember Russ as one of the "in" group who welcomed me to Dixonary 15-plus years ago and as our stalwart scorekeeper. We'll miss our long-time online friend. Deepest condolences to Virginia and other members of the family.

I will always remember his great contributions to the online Dixonary game... I never met him, but I have "known" him since the 80's as an online friend. I will miss him.

Although I knew Russ only in cyberspace through his participation in the "Dixonary" game, I want to extend my sincere condolences to Virginia and his entire family.

I took out my camera, and of course out comes his, classic Russ.

Russ was always ready to help anyone that hadn't made him mad, and always ready with a one-liner that would leave you scratching your head and laughing the rest of the day. It was a great honor to have known him, he became an old friend the day I met him. He will be sorely missed.

It has been a great pleasure of mine to have known and worked with Russ. He and I first worked together at Bettis back in the late seventies and then again at Bernard Controls after year 2000. Russ was always a kind and patient person and someone good to reminisce with over the good old times. I will truly miss Russ and pray for Virginia's mournful recovery. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
