1929 - 2014

May 8, 1929-January 10, 2014 Berniece graduated from St Luke's nursing school and then worked for St. Luke's Hospital until her retirement. Her passion was in the ER and was very proud to have had this as her career. She is survived by one brother, Arthur Erickson of Salina KS, her daughter, Kelley Korb (Martin), 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Behan, Brittany Remmert (Michael), Ciera Korb, Alexandra Korb and Cody O'Reilly and 5 great grandchildren, Chandler, Kennis, Cash, Brystol and Colt as well as many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Per her request there will be a gathering to share and rejoice at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost on Tuesday, January 14th from 12:00 to 2:00pm. Cremation. She then wanted everyone to celebrate her life in whatever way suited them and their memories best. In lieu of flowers we suggest a donation in her name to the charity of your choice. Some of her favorites included St. Luke's Nursing Program, Breast Cancer Research, Bishop Spencer Place and K C Hospice House.
