Sandy,

It is hard to believe I had never met Pat. In looking through the album of pictures, I can peek into the lives you shared. Your care of and for him during his last days are a testimony to the woman Neal and Evalyn raised.

To me dearest old friends--Pat, Sandy, Tom, Family,
I am sorry I was not able to attend the memorial mass for my lifetime "double". As most of you know Pat and I resembled each other enough through the good number of my 48 years that he saved my butt on a number of occasions when I was not able to attend my own family functions. Since Pat and his family George and Dorothy were such a great part of our Raab family, the two of us made it transparent that either of us ever missed an occasion. Thank you for that my brother. I am happy that you have found everlasting comfort for all your hurts and ailments that effect the rest of us in this world. I will forever miss all the great times at band practice, simple stopovers while in the neighborhood, you stopping by in the old Pleasanton homestead on your way to yet another fishing hole. I enjoyed the times cheering the lowly ol Royals, win or lose. For you and I, I believe we always enjoyed life for what it is and was. I will always miss you and carry the torch for your memory to my own death. Brothers forever my friend.

Dear Sandi,
I had the blessing of being introduced to Pat and the Raab family through Terry Vernassie. What a joy it was to hear him play the guitar and be a part of the fellowship of playing music in a band. Pat was a part of the band the first time I ever played music for anyone. While I may not have been as close to him as so many others were, it is my honor to have met him. I believe that Pat has gone to a better place. No one is ever truly gone so long as we have memories to share. God has a plan, and God is good. My condolences to you and your family.

Sandi, Tim,
I am so sorry! It is seldom that a guy can call someone a friend, but he was! I enjoyed the time I spent with him talking fishing and cooking.
He was a great friend, a great co-worker, a good fisherman and he even let me cook his steaks once at my house. The next time I see him I will take him fishing, it was the last thing we talked about.

Pat, thanks for so many great memories. You always had a way of making people feel welcome and putting a smile on peoples faces. I always enjoyed the time we hung out playing guitars, going to baseball games, and going to hear local bands. You will be missed by all. I still have the Royals guitar pin you gave me years ago. Since I can't be there tomorrow to say goodbye, (I'm on shift at the station) I'll wear the pin with pride in remembrance of a great friend.

Sandi, Tom, Tim, Jimmy and family,

We feel so blessed that Pat introduced us and we adopted you as family. Over the past 20 years we have had such great unforgettable times. We'll always remember the St. Patricks Day when we answered our door bell to Pat, Tom & Miss Dorothy in the yard (with tiny Miss Dorothy holding the Irish Flag) while you sung an Irish carol. We were Florida Gators fans & Pat was a Seminoles fan so we would leave gators around his house & he would retaliate by leaving seminole stickers around ours. Pat also snuck a wine cork on Sue's Sammy Sosa picture after the cork bat incident. Between the get togethers at Miss Dorothy's or Pat & Sandi's (Friday night favs), the Graduations, Weddings, BBQ's, Opening Days we have truly felt blessed being a part of your lives. We love Pat more than words can express and as much as it hurts really bad he gave us so much more in laughs, good times and love.

Sandi and family,

Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. Pat was an amazing man. It breaks our hearts that God needed him so soon. Memories of him will last forever, all the bbqs, gatherings over at the house, hearing him "blasting" his music and last but not least going over to watch the Royals games! God sure does have one Hell of an angel up there!

God Bless,

Pat was a great neighbor and friend. I had the privledge of living across the street from him and Sandi from 93 to 98. Never got to go fishing with him, but sure did have some brews and ate his great BBQ. I will miss Pat. Sandi, and brother Tom, my thoughts and prayers are with you!

Pat was a great friend to me and my family ever since we were kids. I am saddened to hear of his passing, and I want to give my sympathies to Sandi & the kids, his brother Tom and family.
He kind of had a personality much bigger than Life, full of fun, loyalty,
hard work, and great talents in music & sports...and the best Barbecue in the World ! He'll be missed.

Sandi and family- I'm so sorry for your loss. Pat was an awesome man. I have so many fond memories of the time we worked together and the times when we would hang out. It's hard to think of him without a smiling. I have been truly blessed by knowing Pat.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. It is hard to express in words the loss of such a strong, gentle giant, yet so easy to recall the many gifts he blessed on others. So here is to the game of baseball, listening to good music and the art of barbeque. We will miss him greatly but keep memories alive to celebrate his presence.

Pat was a great friend and co-worker. He will be missed. We had some great times working together and he was always fun to be around. It seemed that it was him that could fix our fiber problems at work. I'm glad I knew him.
