GLENN EDWIN MILKERT

1943 - 2011 Glenn Edwin Milkert, 67, a resident of Weatherby Lake, MO passed away in the evening hours of Friday, September 23, 2011 at NorthCare Hospice House. He was born December 17, 1943 in East St. Louis, IL to Edwin and Ann (Fiebig) Milkert. Glenn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1965. Glen retired from Armco Steel as an Electrical Engineer in 1993; he continued his career at Sega, Inc. He was a very genuine person and loved spending time with his family and friends. Glenn was a treasured member of the extended Guadagnano family, as a son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle. He was dearly loved and will be missed. He married Patricia (Pat) Guadagnano on August 14, 1982 at the Platte Woods United Methodist Church. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include two daughters, Pamela K. (Ron) Bass of Keller, TX and Amy L. (John) Dunning of Marietta, GA; a step-son, Eric N. (Maria) Coates of Matthews, NC; a sister, Virginia Morgan of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren; Anna Avery and Rachel Bass, Madeline, Kaitlin and John Cary Jr. Dunning and Anastasia Torwal. The family will receive friends from 9 – 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Platte Woods United Methodist Church. A funeral service celebrating Glenn's life will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the church with Senior Pastor Steve Breon officiating. Burial will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House or The Leukemia Society. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville, MO.
