DAVID WILSON Obituary

DAVID OVERTON WILSON, JR. David O. Wilson, Jr., 70, Olathe, peacefully passed away Dec. 18, 2017. Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 in Wesley Chapel of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe, Leawood. A visitation precedes the service at 1:30 p.m. Dave is survived by his wife Rea Louise Wilson, daughters, S. Corey Hart, St. Peter's MO, and Bailey E. Amtower (Brandon), Fairway, and son, David O. Wilson III (Kama), Spring Hill; brother, Gary P. Wilson (Mary Anne), Lenexa, five grandchildren, Simon, Sydney, Savanah and Ian Hart, all of St. Peter's, and Jacob Amtower, Fairway. A sixth grandchild, Jackson Wilson, is due in February. Another brother, Raymond A. Wilson, and his parents preceded Dave in death. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Church of the Resurrection/Crossroads Ministry, the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. I was very saddened to hear about Dave's passing. He was a class act. We worked together at Tarkett for many years and he was always a great counselor and friend.
