I am so sorry to hear of Paul's death. I am a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say and just saw the notice. Paul was a friend of my dad and granddad who had a furniture store (Dick Brown Furniture Store) at 3123 Main. Paul would frequently stop in to chat with them when he rode a 3-wheeler. When my grandfather passed away in 1964, Paul stopped by to see my dad and said he couldn't do much to help us with our grief, but he had requested escort duty for my grandfather's funeral procession from Freeman Mortuary to Mt. Moriah -- I have never forgotten what Paul did for our family. I remember him at the cemetery waiting for the procession to pass by. I was 19 years old at the time. The picture shown certainly reminds me of him -- I remember he was fairly tall and always polite. I wanted to share my little memory of him with the family.

To the family,

I am truly sorry for your loss. My prayers and condolences go out to you all in the most difficult time. May you pray to God for strength, for his word tells us that he can give us the power beyond what is normal to deal with the trials of life. His words says at Psalms 147:3- He is healing the brokenhearted ones, and is binding up their painful spots. You can take comfort in this quote.
