ROBERT SCHULTZ Obituary
Robert Lee "Bob" Schultz, 74, of Memphis, MO passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 25, 2014, at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. The son of Gordon and Elva (Nelson) Schultz, he was born March 31, 1940 at Kansas City, MO. After he got out of School he went to work for General Motors at the Leeds Plant in Kansas City, MO and later transferred to the General Motors Plant in Reno, NV, where he retired in 1991 after 27 1/2 years of service. Upon retirement he relocated to northeast Missouri where he was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer. He was a member of the UAW Local 93 and the MO Bow Hunters Association. He was also member of the Episcopal Church. He was married to Lynda Mae Cornett and later Bonnie Lee Woods of Kirksville, MO The last few years he worked in law enforcement for the Scotland County Sherriff's office transporting prisoners for transfers and medical needs. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Richard Garfield, and his brothers, James G. Schultz and Gerald "Jerry" Garfield. Surviving relatives include his wife Bonnie of Kirksville, MO, two sons, Martin Robert (Vivian) Schultz of Jacksonville, FL and Craig Alan (Deborah) of Phenix City, AL, daughters, Catherine White of Edgerton, KS, Jeanetta "Jeannie" Rader and Bob Scroggins of Jacksonville, FL, Step-sons Jon Samuel (Shannon) Rader of Novinger, MO, Melvin Lee "Buddy" (Sarah) Rimer of Edina, MO, grandchildren, Brent, Brianna, Noelle, and Justin Schultz, Hillary, Brittany, Alexandra, and Bobby Scroggins Jr., Ariel and Darian Rader, Jaxon and Avery Rimer; sisters, Patricia Raybrook of Blue Springs, MO and Norma Jean Osburn of Independence, MO along with other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Missouri Conservation in care of Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, MO 63555 or directly by mailing to 3500 S. Baltimore, Kirksville, MO 63501. Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 5, 2014, at the Payne Funeral Chapel on the Northeast corner of the square in Memphis. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dan Hite. The visitation will be one hour before the service. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis, MO.
