Sorry I can't be at the service, but wanted you to know how much I loved working for Ted at Halls. He was the most genteel person I ever worked with and all our team was like a family. He was the best! I miss him.

To Trish (to include all Honig family)- Was so saddened to learn of your father's passing. What a terrific father and mentor you had to learn from. We were quite young, but do you remember when your Mom and Dad pulled a joke on my folks, pulling up on their bikes to our then family home in Overland Park, KS. after having "peddled" all the way from your family home in Kansas City, MO. not even winded or a hair out of place after many a mile? They finally let on they had parked their car one block over, and peddled to our home. Your Dad and mine always got along and liked joking with one another. I'll bet he is finding all the perfect bike paths he and your Mom can enjoy. He will be missed, but here in spirit. Much love, Cindy Slimm-Stearns. Plano, TX.

Dear Honig Family,
We lived next door to the Honig's at 6839Cherry. I remember Ted and Marion as wonderful neighbors. Our years on Cherry Street are full of many good memories. My son and his family still drive down Cherry Street on Christmas Eve to enjoy the luminaries . My sincere condolences to all of your family.

What wonderful memories I have of the elegant and gracious boss I had at Hall's. Ted was always kind and thoughtful and just a pleasure to work with. May he rest in peace.

Dear Honig Family,
Your parents bought my parents' house at 6835 Cherry back in 1965 (we added the big family room on the back). I moved back to the block, as an adult with my own family, in 1986. Your parents were still there in a house we all loved! How gracious they both were and I feel fortunate to have known them.
with heartfelt condolences,

Ted was one of the most caring, special, person and one of the very best mentors. We shared many memories and business trips in our retail years together. His bicycle riding through Europe was always entertaining. His love for his family, country, and church was admirable. He will be greatly missed.
