James Blankenship, 55, of Platte City, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Survivors include his wife, Janet; sons Scott, Joshua and Justin Blankenship; mother, Ada Croskell; brothers Jerre (Patti) Blankenship, Joe (Cheryl) Blankenship; sister Judy (John) Waters and grandmother Dorothy Clifton. Services 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, at Hoover Christian Church, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial Platte City Cemetery. Donations to the Hoover Christian Church Mission Fund. (Arr.: Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.)

Ada and family, our hearts are very heavy having heard of your loss. I wish I could say or do something to ease your grief. But there are no words I can say that will ease your burden at this time.
