Greg was born on September 14, 1952 in St. Louis, MO the 2nd of 6 children and the only son of Thomas M. and Regina (Gena) H. Chollet. Greg was a graduate of UMKC and spent his professional life providing services in the exercise business and then managed his wife's medical clinic. He had a beautiful singing voice and taught himself to play the guitar. He enjoyed performing at Ascension Parish with the folk choir for many years prior to joining Cure' of Ars Parish. Greg had such a big heart and often put the needs of others first, and went out of his way to make others happy. Greg is preceded in death by his parents and his favorite pet bird "Snuggles" for which many people knew him. Greg leaves his true love and wife of 19 years, Jackie Springer and his beautiful daughter Christine, both of whom he adored. He also leaves his five sisters Michele Chollet (Dan Devine), Annette Chollet, Cathy Chollet (Keith Crowder), Melissa Chollet and Jessica Chollet (Bob Cook), many cousins nieces, a great aunt and uncle and many friends. I went to Saint Teresa´s grade school with Greg. I heard about his passing and was saddened to hear about it. I do wish that I'd told him about the Miraculous Medal. I believe Greg was a Catholic. Unfortunately it's normal that friendships in Grade School tend to fragment as we get older. I remember him fondly and hope Our Lord Jesus reunites us in Heaven.

I went to School with Greg at Saint Theresa I think it was 58th and Michigan. Greg lived off of 55th and Michigan though my memory of the Street is vague. I knew he was in the exercise business I recall seeing him one time at some Business in Brookside once again a faded Memory. I am also a Musician Singer and Lead Guitarist and worked the Road for a number of years. Greg saw me play a long time ago down in the River Key area a bit north of the Downtown area. I was sitting here at my apartment in Raytown it's 6:55 am and for some reason I decided to Goggle his name and knew it was him when Saint Theresa was mentioned in his obituary. I hope to see him again someday. I'm 67 born Jan 12th 1952. I can't explain why I'm still breathing and he's passed that's in God's hands.

I remember all of the Chollet family like it was yesterday. Greg was such a nice young man. I bought several treadmills from Greg over the years. His parents and I met over 50 years ago and maintained a relationship over the years. To all of you please accept my deepest sympathy and sorrow in your loss of Greg.
