JOSEPH F. DAGGIT

Joseph F. Daggit, 61, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Kansas City, MO, passed away suddenly on September 26, 2011. A Celebration of Life will be 3:00pm Saturday, October 8, 2011 at DW Newcomer's White Chapel in Gladstone, MO, with visitation from 1pm to 3pm. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Audrey Daggit and his brother Robert J. Daggit. Survivors include his loving wife of 12 years Candi Daggit of the home, daughter Colleen Denney and husband Matthew of Tonganoxie, KS, son Timothy Daggit of Kansas City, MO, step-son Mark Garner and wife Farrah of Independence, MO, 3 grandchildren Emilie, Lillie and Noah Garner, sister-in-law Joann Daggit of Florida, Father-in-law Duane Hanebuth of Excelsior Springs, MO, and mother-in- law Virginia Trenary of North Kansas City, MO. He also leaves 4 sisters-in-law and their families, niece Margaret Tyler of Iowa, nephews Tom Daggit of Illinois, and John Daggit of Virginia. He worked in the Steel Industry for over 40 years and the last 12 years at Hanna Steel Corporation out of Birmingham Alabama. Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him and was taken way too soon from us, and will live in our hearts forever.
