Have no doubt, there are a great many Missouri Sigma Chi's who have left us too soon with him now. He is in good company with them and your family and friends gone over the years. Our EX White Cross burns more brightly because of his example - as you know so well, a life well lived.

So sorry to hear about your loss!
I went to college with Lee in Cape, and was his pledge trainer in our fraternity; Sigma Chi. He was a great guy, a leader, a courteous man who exemplified the high ideals of manhood and our fraternity. Lee was very funny always full of surprises. Years ago, a group of us went to Colorado to ski over winter break. He had never skied before, but went straight to the top of the mountain and pointed his skis downhill and just went forward. He never veered for moguls or anything else as i recall. To my knowledge he did not fall, and was waiting for us at the bottom, saying that's wasn't so hard! I smile when i think of him that day.
I just wanted to share a small memory of Lee, and know that he will be missed.
Sincerely,
Greg Rannells

It was a tragic time that should never have happened, and we so hoped he would make it. To his sons who were there, I hope you will work past this and remember your dad as he was before this happened. And to all the rest of his family and friends, please accept my sincerest condolences.

I join in expressing great sadness at the passing of my friend and former colleague Lee. He was a very good man. Over almost 30 years in Kansas City, he built a successful legal career and, more importantly, a wonderful family. He was a proud and loving husband and father. RIP, my friend.

So sorry for your loss. Lee was a classmate of mine from Cape Girardeau. Always kind and had a smile on his face. His dad and my grandfather worked together at the television station and my grandparents were his Godparents. He will be with them and his dad now watching over his family. Rest in peace, Lee.
