I was looking at quilt books today to try to decide on a Christmas pattern & was thinking about Linda. I'm so sad she's past on & Cheri Payne too. Two great designers never to be replicated. My husband & I had the great opportunity to tour Linda's home & studio one year during Liberty Gathering! She offered chunks of pineapple her son had brought from Hawaii. Her home was beyond belief gorgeous! I'm thankful she accomplished so much in her short life & touched so many of us with her beautiful humanity!

I miss Linda so much. I visited her home and studio many years ago. I have her books and patterns and treasure them. I also have some of Bobs recipes. Warm hugs. Dona in Oregon...

To Linda's family, I will miss her forever. She was so sweet to me. I even got to go to her house for iced tea and cake. I was with a small group of women and she took us into her studio. What a treat. I have all of her books and many patterns. Hugs Dona...she called me little butt.

Linda,
I want you to know I have all your books,
and I still look at the Print est boards, they are wonderful and such a nice reminder of who you where and what you like. I love the primitive American quilt look that you did so well. I will always remember you as one of the great American Folk artist of our time. Thank you for your contribution to the quilting world and your love of our country.
God Bless you and America.
