I met Elmer through my friend, Harriet, who is a resident at Delnor Glen in St. Charles. Elmer was a true gentleman. When I visited Harriet, Elmer would greet me with a "good morning" and always held the door open. We will both miss him.

Dear Marilyn, Dale, and family,
We were saddened to hear about your dad. He and your mom were such good friends and very special to us. I'll always remember the days working with your mom at H.I.A. Our prayers are with all of you.

Marilyn and Dale,
You have my deepest sympathy. It is always difficult losing your last parent. You feel lost and abandoned. You will remember questions you wanted to ask him, but now you can't. You will rush to the phone to tell him something, only to remember he is not there. But, he is with your mother now and he is in a much better place. I am sure my mother welcomed him with opened arms. He was her big brother and she loved him very much.
Your cousin,
