Franklin resident, 90

FRANKLIN - Lydia H. Fegter, 90, of Franklin died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, in Franklin.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Macon with the Revs. Baron and Nancy Cole officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Macon.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hutchins Funeral Home in Franklin.

She was born Dec. 31, 1918, in Franklin County to Thomas and Marie Kuster.

On Oct. 8, 1939, she married George Fegter in Macon. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Elvera Frerichs and her husband, Dale, of Hildreth; sons, Gerald Fegter and his wife, Marti, of Texas and Dewayne Fegter and his wife, Judy, of Kearney; grandchildren, Rick Frerichs and his wife, Denise, of Minden, Lori Frerichs of Rossville, Kan., Karen Frerichs of Hildreth, Tarsha Tost of Puyallup, Wash., Amy Spawn and her husband, Jason, and Stephanie Martin and her husband, Michael, all of Texas, Michael Fegter and his wife, Mary, of Kearney and Chris Fegter and his wife, Ann, of Lincoln; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She attended country school south of Macon. She and her husband were married at Zion Lutheran Church in Macon.

She was a housekeeper for numerous years at the hospital. She belonged to Ladies Aide and Zion Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and six sisters.

Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church.
