Jack Eugene Havron

1928 - 2013

Jack Eugene Havron, 85, of Kenosha passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Parkside Manor with his family by his side. Jack was born on Feb. 15, 1928, in Hillsboro, Ill., to Carl and Laverne (Bryan) Havron and he attended schools in Illinois.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 until his honorable discharge in 1946. Jack married his one true love, Betty Smith in Mayfield, Ky., on Jan. 1, 1948, and they were together for over 40 years until her death on Sept. 25, 1989. He worked for the Southern WI Center for the Developmentally Disabled as a power plant Superintendent for over 38 years until his retirement in 1990. Jack enjoyed tinkering on cars but loved spending time with his family.

He was also preceded in death by, his parents; his brother, Bobby Havron and his sister, Vivian Kimbro.

Jack is survived by, four children, James Havron of Helena, Mont., Michael Havron of Eau Claire, Jeffrey (Melody) Havron of Kenosha and Jacqueline (Dale) Bucholz of Jim Falls, Wis.; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jack will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Wisconsin would be greatly appreciated.
