Dan Walter Loth

1952 - 2014

Dan W. Loth, 61, of Silver Lake, Wis., passed from this world Monday evening, Jan. 27, 2014, at United Hospital Systems-St. Catherines Campus. We deeply mourn his passing and he will be sorely missed by all.

Dan Walter Loth was born on Dec. 1, 1952, in Kenosha, Wis., the son of the late Walter Raymond and Anna Mae Margaret Hendricks Loth. Dan has been a lifelong resident of Silver Lake. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from UW-LaCrosse.

He formerly worked as a carpenter for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and birdwatcher. He was a member of the Silver Lake Sportsmans Club and H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group).

Dan is survived by four children, Cameron Loth of Silver Lake, Wis., Adrienne Loth of Los Angeles, Calif., Lindsay Loth of Lake Geneva, Wis., and Danielle Loth of Walworth, Wis.; five grandchildren, Haylie, Caitlin, Cameron Jr, Erin and Mathew Kain; one great granddaughter, Maggie Loth; one brother, Charles R. (Judy) Loth of Silver Lake, Wis., and one sister Barbara Ann Loth-VanWagner of Chicago, Wis.

A service of remembrance will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Twin Lakes with Pastor Brian D. Metke officiating. The Loth Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of services. Memorial remembrances may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 775 Geranium Rd. Pell Lake, WI. 53157.
