Dennis J. Deeter

1951 - 2017

Dennis J. Deeter, 66, of Twin Lakes, Wis., passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.

Dennis James Deeter was born on October 2, 1951 in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Edsel and Virginia L. Weimer Deeter. On October 14, 1972, in Lake Como, Wis., Dennis was united in marriage to Elizabeth E. Donahoe.

Dennis graduated from Wilmot High School. He worked as a carpenter for Jude Tindall Construction in Twin Lakes for 37 years. Dennis enjoyed helping people, woodworking, doing stained glass, reading and doing puzzles. He was a member of the Planning Commission for the Village of Twin Lakes, AARP, and the Carpenter's Benefit Union.

Dennis is survived by: his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Melanie (AJ Steadman) Deeter of Twin Lakes, Wis.; son, Jaime (Kerri Keisler) of Twin Lakes, Wis.; four grandchildren, Arie, Max, Chase and Emersyn; one great-grandchild, Leo; three brothers, Brother Timothy Deeter, OSA of Australia, Kevin Deeter of Silver Lake, Wis. and David (Pam Ludwig) Deeter of Atlanta, Ga.

A gathering of friends will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Twin Lakes. There will be a celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. For online guestbook: haaselockwoodfhs.
