Dear Charles and Family, I am greatly sadden by your loss. Gretchen will be missed by the folks at the University of Kentucky CAER and especially by the small group that she so ably and caringly shepherded for many years. She made a real and lasting impact on our lives.

So sorry to hear about Gretchen. I worked with her in the 90's at UK. She was one of my favorite people. The dry wit and laid back attitude always brightened my day. I could rely on her more than any one I worked with.

Charles and family, We are so sorry to hear this news. My mind went to memories of all the Halloweens on our little street and the wonderfully carved pumpkins and conversation while we waited for kids to come by. Our sympathies on your loss.

I was so sorry to learn of Gretchen's death. I belong to a group of high school friends who emailed almost daily. We are all going to miss her deeply. Prayers and hugs to Charles and the entire family.
