David I know you are not truly dead, your spirit has moved on to the next world to await resurrection.
I miss you, I cry for you, for us. I cannot tell how many times a day I think of you. I know I will see you again, and then you will tell me what you didn't get the chance to.
Thank you for loving me, I truly did love you.
Now our life together, seems so long ago. So, very long ago, although it has just been a little over 2 years. Life is different. I am alone. I finally found peace, and I know you would be pleased with the path I am on. I am following my heart, living what I know to be true.
I love you David, I hope you know that and how much I miss you.
Until we meet again, I pray peace for you.

To my dad: I just want you to know that I thank God for every day that I had with you. You were a great father! I am so glad that Hannah got to meet her grandfather! Thank you for all the times you came to Richmond and spent with me. I love you and miss you!!

I thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new,
I thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.

I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name,
All I have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is a keepsake,
with which I'll never part,
God has you in his keeping,
I have you in my heart.

A Friend

What is a friend? I'll tell you.
It is a person with whom you dare to be yourself.
You soul can go naked with him.
He seems to ask you to put on nothing, only to be what you really are.
When you are with him, you do not have to be on your guard.
You can say what you think, so long as it is genuinely you.
He understands those contradictions in your nature that causes others to misjudge you.
With him you breathe freely- you can avow you little vanities and envies and absurdities and in opening them up to him, they are dissolved on the white ocean of his loyalty.
He understands. You can weep with him, laugh with him, pray with him- through and underneath it all he sees, knows and loves you.
A friend, I repeat, is one with whom you dare to be yourself.

I have lost my best friend, my soul mate, my love. When I read this I thought of you Dave. We shared everything with each other, tears and laughter. We truly had some good laughs too. I miss you, every minute of every day. But you know that.

David, I miss you so much. I thought we would be together forever, that we would grow old together. I go over and over what happened and have cried many tears. My life will never be the same again. It seems so empty without you.
Thank you for loving me. I love you always and forever.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I worked with David at Audio Authority. Although I haven't seen or spoken with David in years, I remember him through his humor and actions. David had the ability to laugh at himself. That coupled with his humor always created a major laugh session. I'll always remember David as a good man.
