Lawrence Arp Obituary

ARP, LAWRENCE W. - age 88 of Lenoir City passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Lawrence was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in WWII. He was a member of Oral Baptist Church and a longtime employee of Elm Hill Meats. Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife, Edia Deaton Arp. Survived by his children: Christine Presley and husband, George of Orlando, FL, Clifford Arp of Lenoir City, Linda Ludwig and husband, Maynard of Heiskell, Larry Arp and wife, Darlene of Lenoir City, and Tammi Neeley of Lenoir City; grandchildren: Amanda Bookout, Jessica Roberts, Rachel Arp, Joshua Neeley and Heather Neeley; great-grandchildren, Landon Arp, Brandon Roberts, Jacob Roberts and Aiden Bookout; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Thom Tapp officiating. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Military honors will be conferred by the Loudon Co. Veterans Honor Guard.
