Samuel Carringer Obituary

CARRINGER, SAMUEL DAVID - age 63 of Loudon and formerly of Atlanta, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Park West Hospital. Mr. Carringer attended the Loudon United Methodist Church. Before relocating to the Loudon area, he resided in Atlanta nearly 35 years where he worked as a professional hairdresser until his health failed. Preceded in death by parents, Grady V. Carringer and Hazel (Daniels) Loftis. Survivors include his brother and sister in-law, Dan and Lezlee Loftis, Loudon; aunts, Betty Nicholson, Cohutta, GA and Jo Barnett, Gastonia, NC; uncle, Tommy Daniels, Young Harris, GA; nieces, Lisa Reed, Loudon and Melody Reese, Bellefonte, PA and nephew, Daniel Loftis, Loudon and many special friends. The family wishes to thank the Riverstone 5th Floor staff of Park West Hospital for their outstanding kindness and compassionate care. Funeral services 2:30 PM Tuesday, Oct. 5th, Loudon United Methodist Church with Dr. Tony Collins officiating. Interment to follow in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens. Contributions in memory of Mr. Carringer may be made to the Loudon Untied Methodist Church, P.O. Box 342, Loudon, TN 37774. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:15 PM prior to the service at the church. McGill-Karnes Funeral Home in Loudon is serving the family. www.mcgillkarnes.com
