OVERTON, DOROTHY (DOT) COKER - age 92, previous resident of Heiskell, Tennessee, born December 10, 1916, passed away August 14, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church, Clinch Valley Chapter #369 Order of the Eastern Star, and preceded in death by her husband, W. H. Overton; and daughter, Jane Crabtree. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Judy Overton of Port Orchard, Washington; grandsons, J. Overton (Janelle) of Port Orchard, Washington, and John Crabtree (Gayle) of Jacksboro, Tennessee; two great-granddaughters, Alexandra and Samantha Crabtree; sister, Claudine Lawson; brother, Hadie Coker both of Cleveland, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Friday at Stevens Mortuary Chapel with Reverend John Crabtree officiating. The family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a graveside service and interment at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway.
