I just learned of your mother's passing.
We were in Knoxville on Fri to attend a funeral. I called but got no answer.
We've been friends since 1st grade. I will miss our talks and visits.

I will miss Barbara forever. She was a joyous, positive, funny and one of a kind true Southern lady. Barbara made a wonderful, bright light difference in this sometimes difficult world. I wish she was still shelving books at Cedar Bluff.

Barbara was a good friend and I will miss our annual Christmas cards, where we shared our joys and sorrows with our football teams. She and my sister were staunch Auburn fans and I was sent messages between them. God Bless her family in their loss. Ann Arrington, Enterprise, AL

Missing you already my dear friend. I think of you every day, but especially when I'm at work picking up books.Barbara would be shaking her head at the mess but continuing to work diligently to clean it up. Say hello to my brother-in-law Don and swap a few Auburn stories with him. You are both in a better place. Rest now, my friend.

I knew Barbara from many years of appointments with Sandy, her very special hairstylist at LaRoys. She was such a friendly, warm and caring person. She always was glad to see you and ask how you were doing. I'm from Alabama and attended Auburn so we did talk about the games. I remember her naming her dog Bo Jackson which showed a true and loyal Auburn fan.
I will miss her on those Saturday mornings and extend my sympathy to her family in their time of loss.

I worked at the vet clinic she took her beloved Bo Bo. She was a gracious southern woman in every sense. It always made my day when I knew her and Bo were coming in to see us. She will be very much missed and my thoughts go out to her family.

Barbara was my best friend, fellow worker at Cedar Bluff Library and my favorite movie buddy. I will miss her greatly. Her family and all her friends lost a very special person when she went to live with her maker.

I will miss Barb. I have known her for 40 of my 52 years. It will be easy to hold on to my favorite memories because they stayed so consistent through the years. She always looked perfect. She always asked about my family. I always knew she loved me.
We had the same routine since I was 12. I would say something to shock her and she always rewarded me with a look of disgust followed by “Oh Charlie Burchett you better behave”. In the early years she was probably also praying that Mark and I would behave or more likely hoping that we wouldn't get caught.
She let me kid her about Auburn although she was a better sport when they were winning. I did not approach her after a loss to Alabama. I will miss Barb.

Even though Barbara was my first cousin, she was more like my best friend. She loved Auburn football more than life and loved to come to Montgomery to visit and we would go over to Auburn to walk around and spend the day. She was also my beach buddy. I will always remember Barbara for her love of life. She will always be forever young in my heart. It is going to take me a long time to get over this. The only thing getting me through is that I know she is in a much better place, free from suffering. Barbara, I miss you so much.

Barbara was a force to be reckoned with - if we all had her determination, work ethic and all around graciousness the world would be infinitely better off. I will always think of her as an example of how good I could be. We loved her and will miss her forever.

We will all miss Barb at the library, so much. She was a great worker, friend, and spunky Auburn fan! Such a joy to be around! May God bless the whole family during your time of loss and give you peace and comfort.
