I love you dad. It's almost been 4 months without hearing your funny jokes and positive attitude. I hope it's great up there. I just miss you and it's hard but you taught me to be a man and I thank you. I just wish it was all a dream. But anyways, I love you daddy. I miss you.

My prayers are with the family. I hope that someday Jerry I'll be there with you and we can talk about loved ones and life as we knew it and came to know it. I remember the first time we hung out at Fulton high school. You doing your crazy dance and friends calling you meat loaf. You were dear to my heart and I always enjoyed your friendship and being part of your life. I'll never forget any of the times we had and the memories we made as great friends.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one. I too loved him very much and will miss him dearly. I've known Jerry since he was a little boy. He was a wonderful person who endured lots of hardship in his life, but continued to push on. May God bring you comfort in this loss. Just know he is happy and healed and is with our Lord and Savior. God Bless.

Jerry,
It's going to be so hard without you in this world. I know you are finally healed from the sickness you fought for so many years.
I remember when you were little and I carried you on my hip, although that's hard to image now. You were a beautiful child and grew into such a handsome, caring man with a heart the size of this world.
I remember the day you came to Momma's and told me you had finally won Christi's heart. I had never seen such a look of joy on your face before. You were giddy and had a smile a mile long. I have thanked God many times for putting you two together. You can't think of one without thinking of the other. Truly two peas in a pod.
Jerry you had such a hard childhood due to circumstances we all know about. Thanks to Christi you enjoyed the happiness, joy, love and the wholeness of a family that you deeply desired and deserved.
Heaven has gained such a wonderful soul. A jokester that will be playing tricks on the angels and bringing laughter to heaven in a way those souls have never known.
I know my brother Van was one of the first to greet you. You two held a special bond.
Although my heart is broken into pieces I know I can't be selfish and wish you here because I know how truly sick you were.
You fought so hard and you are the strongest man I have ever known. I pray that one day I will see you again.
Your Loving Aunt Linda
