Larry Hullinger Obituary
He was born Nov. 24, 1952, in Garrett to Allen E. and Mary Ellen (Reid) Hullinger.
He was a 1971 graduate of Eastside High School, Butler. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He worked at C & A Tool in Auburn.
He married Amy L. Fairchild on May 1, 1999, at the Butler Big Run Church and she survives.
Larry was a member of the NRA, and enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, traveling, especially to Big Sur, California. He was an avid Raiders fan, and enjoyed being with his family and friends.
He attended Christ's Church in Butler.
Surviving are his wife, Amy L. Hullinger of Butler; one daughter, Jessica R. Hullinger, and one son, Samuel A. Hullinger, both of Butler; his father, Allen E. Hullinger and stepmother Barbara (Warner) Hullinger; three sisters, Shirley A. Roose of Fort Wayne; Roberta Parkinson of St. Joe and Caryn Shilling of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Hullinger.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 212 N. Broadway, Butler, with Pastor Dale Rabineau of Christ's Church in Butler officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, Butler.
Preferred memorials are requested to be given to the family.

Larry will be remembered as a silly, sweet, and smart man who was quick with a smile and always easy to talk to. He will be missed.

The last time I saw Larry was in the office at Eastside waiting for our kids during fair week. I was there to get my daughter and he, his son and daughter.We chatted about his dad, who my family's known forever. I asked Larry how he was doing, he said good. He just seemed really happy and glad to be there for his kids.
