My dear Mom, you are so missed. It was an honor to be present when you crossed over, I will never forget how I felt to see you finally at peace. You chose the date you gave me life to pass, I will honor you and pass on your legacy through my grandchildren, they loved you and always will, you will not be forgotten. I love and miss you so very much. Thank you for my life and we shall see you again when it is our turn. Aloha Mom.

I will miss Georgia's bright smile and her songs. We loved going through her catalogs and telling jokes. We will always have fond memories of a dear lady.

Robbie,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. You were lucky to have her as a Mom and now as a Guardian Angel. With deepest sympathy.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. Georgia may not have been 'big' physically, but she was a large presence wherever she was. Rest in peace, Georgia.

God blessed you with a very special Mother and Friend. The memories you've recorded over the time that your mom was "here," are priceless records. May God continue to strengthen and keep you and your entire family. My prayers are with you.

ALOHA MOM!
On Saturday, March 15, 2008, at about 12:20 in the afternoon, in the family home in Placentia, California, our Mother, Georgia M. Harrod finally lost her battle with her body and a multitude of illnesses.
The whole family was present and at Mom's bedside when she passed.
At the time of her passing, we were playing one of Mom's CD's of the Hawaiian artist known as IZ. He was singing the song Somewhere Over the Rainbow at the exact moment she passed on. It had great meaning and was soothing to all of us. Mom taught each of her three daughters an appreciation for music that will stay with us forever.
Please take a moment to enjoy his version of this song and read about the artist: http://lover4ever.unblog.fr/abandon

It is a wonderful tribute!
Although it is a time of great sadness and self-pity for us, it is a glorious moment for our Mom, who has been a prisoner of her body for a long time but most recently fought the nightmare of her last five months after four surgeries and being moved around between hospitals and nursing homes. Mom finally was able to spend her last week and a day at home, happliy singing and surrounded with dignity, compassion, comfort, and love.
SHE IS FREE AT LAST
and, no doubt, singing with the choir of Heavenly Angels!!!
