Frank Olivadoti Obituary
FRANK JAMES OLIVADOTI A resident of Sylmar, California, passed away on February 27, 2006 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in Utica, New York, on October 25, 1912 to Vito and Maria (nee Vallone) Olivadoti. He graduated from Wetmore School and was employed by Zeiter Brothers Dairy, Borden Dairy and Red Star Express Lines while a resident of Utica. Frank married the late Anna Mary Tutino (who preceded Frank in death on June 29, 1988), also of Utica, on September 7, 1936. Frank and family moved to Los Angeles in April 1952, where Frank worked at Arden Farms Dairy until his retirement in 1969. Surviving Frank are five children: Mary (Joseph) Reynolds of Carefree, Arizona; Carol Cherney of Phoenix, Arizona; Frank (Elynor) Olivadoti of Manhattan Beach, California. David (Terri Ann) Olivadoti of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Timothy of Fountain Valley, California. He also leaves behind daughter-in-law, Victoria Olivad oti; seven grandchildren, Suzanne Lopez, Alexander Cherney, Daniel (Kara) Cherney, Shelly (Patrick) Santoro, Melissa, Amory and Vincent Olivadoti; and two great grandchildren, Rachel Wess and Dominick Olivadoti. Also surviving is his sister, Rose Campola of Utica; sisters-in-law, Pauline (Louis) Buttino of Dunedin, Florida; Mary Olivadoti of Utica and Theresa Tutino of Corland, New York; as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family. Frank was preceded in death by his four brothers, John, Daniel, P eter and Anthony; and two sisters, Mary Gazzilli and Angelina Pellegrino. Frank was a Past Master of his Masonic Lodge in Burbank, California, later serving as Chaplain and active in the Eastern Star. Frank loved people and was happiest when he was helping anyone who needed assistance. A Masonic Service will be held at the Utter McKinley Mortuary in Mission Hills at 6:30 p.m., on Sunday, March 5, 2006. A Funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 6, 2006, 10:30 a.m., at San Fernando Mission Church , San Fernando, California. Interment to follow in the Mission Cemetery.
