Christopher VanFossen Obituary
LANCASTER: Christopher Ryan (Kinnison) VanFossen 35, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away December at Pickering House Lancaster, Ohio.
Christopher was born August 31, 1979 in Columbus, Ohio to Samuel and Christy Kinnison. He attended Nelsonville York High School; and was an avid football fan.
Surviving are his wife of nine years Jennifer Holly VanFossen of Lancaster; father Samuel Kinnison of Nelsonville; brothers, twin Bryan (Tosha) Kinnison of Nelsonville, Joey Kinnison of Toledo, and Steven Kinnison of Nelsonville; sisters, Kelli (Kevin) Lowery of Nelsonville, Shelia (Jason) Pickering of Chauncey, and Sarah (Dakota) Kinnison of Nelsonville; grandmother Charlotte Kinnison of Logan; sisters-in-law, Danielle (Scott) Ackerman of Florence, CO, Rebecca (Shawn) Marks of Buckeye Lake, and Stephanie (Jason) Heminger of Stoutsville; father-in-law Herbert VanFossen; mother-in-law Cindy VanFossen; loving uncle to Hayden, Emma, Zach, Tressa, Katrina, Sophia, Kayleigh, Julia, Isaac, and Braydon; and special friends, Lee Stanley, and Tony Young.
Christopher was preceded in death by his mother Christy Kinnison; grandparents, Carl and Mary Lou Smathers; grandfather Francis Kinnison; grandparents-in-law Dayton and Charlotte VanFossen, and Buzzy Sherwood.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev Ernie Perkins officiating. Burial will be Shaw Cemetery in Logan, Ohio. Calling hours will be observed Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
