I waited on Karl a lot at the bank many years ago. He loved his family and we talked Ohio State football a lot. We always tried to solve the worlds problems. Lol. He was definitely one of my favorite bank customers. He was a good man.

It saddens me to hear of Karl's passing. It was always nice to see him when he stopped into the store with questions on how to use his iPhone. He was very proud of his grandsons he would talk about them as we solved his issue. My condolences to his family for the loss. May the found memories of Karl comfort you now during this time.

My condolences to Fritz's family. He was the main reason for me going to college and playing football at West Liberty. Without his recommendation, I likely would've never been invited for a visit. I also coached with his son Karl for a few years. My father always spoke highly of him, as he was a few years behind him at LU. RIP Fritz.

My deepest sympathies go out to the Justus family. This was a great shock to me since we were just together last week at an OU basketball game. He loved going and we did it a lot during the past few seasons. I will miss him. Beneath the gruff exterior was a warm, fun person to be around. R.I.P. my friend.

Shawna and I moved to Lancaster in 1986 as a young couple with a two year old daughter and another soon to follow. We were very blessed to have chosen a house next to Marge and Karl. We could not have asked for better neighbors as they immediately made us feel welcome to the neighborhood and the city as a whole. Our children frequently ran next door to show-off a new pair of shoes or toy when they were little and were enthusiastically greeted (and teased by Karl) and always returned with a stick of gum. Karl continued to follow our daughters' high school and college achievements long after we had moved to another home in Lancaster.

As time goes on, we are reminded how grateful we are for the people who have touched our lives along the way. We are blessed to remember Karl in that way.
