Fred Gardner Obituary

Fred William Gardner, 65, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of LaRue County who served in the United States Army, a Kentucky Colonel; and a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and American Legion Post #113.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Dorothy Thomas Gardner; a brother, Junie Gardner; and a sister, Ilene Engle.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Cofer Gardner; daughters, Suzanne (Jason) Stewart of Lexington; brother, Don (Lisa) Gardner of Elizabethtown; and two grandchildren, Jordan and Jenna Stewart both of Lexington.
Cremation was chosen by the family, there will be no service at this time.
Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
