Sue Scoville Obituary

Sue Spencer Scoville, salutatorian of the 1952 Class of Columbia Central High School, died peacefully, with her husband holding her hand. As a friend, U.S. Marine, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She played basketball and softball for the women's team for the Marine Corps. An avid sports fan, her favorites were the University of Minnesota basketball and hockey teams and the Minnesota Vikings. A working mother in the printing industry as an estimator and paper buyer, active in PTA, taking care of her plants, Girl Scout leader, Eastern Star, Jobs Daughters, DeMolay, Cub Scout den mother, church choir, Sunday school teacher and her husband's social hostess. After retiring, Sue did commercials and background in films and television. She loved to read, bowl, attend dinner dances, plays and travel; U.S.A, Asia and Europe. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Scoville, Sr.; children, Rene, Lydia, Lee Anne, Dennis, Jr. (spouses); five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorials to Citrus Valley Health Foundation, P.O. Box 1980, West Covina, CA 91793-9963. Please note on your donation; Hospice-IPU/Martha Scoville.
