My sincere condolences. Thank Rolly for giving me a heads up! I lost track of the whole bunch years ago but I still remember being kids on Berkeley Street and going to school with the whole bunch. Phil, as deaf as he was, spent hours teaching Albert the guitar and we could see how anxious he wanted to learn. I was the sidekick to the "French Trio", my parents refused to let me part of the group and I always wished that I could participate. If I remember correctly, after the promotions of Fred Roden and Dan Bass, Al wanted to go with Johnny Cash but family came first at that time. Eventually he did follow his heart and soared in the music community forever. He was THE natural musician. I huge lost to all who loved music. Noel A. Sabourin
