(nee Rost) Beloved wife of Peter Franklin Burum (deceased), married 63 years. Dearly loved mother of Douglas P. Burum of Acton, MA (Karen), DruAnn A. Crouch of San Gabriel, CA (Brabston), and Kimberly J. Johnson of San Carlos, CA (Kent). Devoted grandmother to Bethany, Ben, and Courtney Burum, Natalie and Olivia Crouch, and Peter and Rex Johnson. Sister of Shirley MacArthur (Hebbard). Sister-in-law of JoAnn Ensign. Attended USC, where she was a member of the Alpha-Chi-Omega sorority. Member of the National Charity League. Born in Fulton, IL and raised in Huntington Park, CA. Barbara resided in San Marino, CA for more than 25 years, and in Laguna Beach, CA and Laguna Niguel, CA for 20 years. Services at 11:30 AM Saturday, January 8, at Oneonta Congregational Church, 1515 Garfield Avenue, South Pasadena, CA 91030. 626-799-6161. If so desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the American Stroke Association (http://www.strokeassociation.org).
