In Loving Memory:
Dwight Wendell Cervin

Dwight, age 91, passed away at John C. Lincoln hospital in
Phoenix, Arizona from respiratory failure as a
consequence of pneumonia, C.O.P.D., and chronic lung disease. He was born in Cokato, Minnesota August 15, 1919. In May 1962, Dwight and his wife Kathryn moved their family from Mpls, MN to
California. He was a veteran of WWII and was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church located next door to his home in Granada Hills, CA.

Dwight enjoyed his career as an auto electrician with the City of Los Angeles for over 25 years at the Raymer Street Service Yard and his ensuing well-earned retirement.

In May 2008 after a hip replacement and multiple health issues Dwight consented to move to Phoenix, Arizona with his son and daughter-in-law. Dwight was a master mechanic belonging to many Car Clubs and Organizations. He had many passions. He loved history and old things, but his greatest passion were his six antique cars which he owned, restored and drove throughout Southern California. His cars appeared in over 20 major studio movies. Dwight is survived by sister Melba Smith (93) of Anaheim Hills, CA; son John and daughter-in-law Jean Cervin; daughter Christy Cervin, Santa Fe, NM; Granddaughters Kristina Cervin of Surprise, Arizona and Nicole Tuttle of Phoenix, AZ.

Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Mpls. MN October 23, 2010 at a graveside service. He will buried next to his wife Kathryn who preceded him in death in October 2004.
