Evelyn Jean Gloria Paradies Luria

Evelyn Luria Obituary

Luria, Evelyn Jean Gloria Paradies
August 31, 1919 - October 30, 2010
Evelyn Jean Gloria Paradies was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and never lost her southern roots. Graduating from Duke University, she married Mervin Luria from Reading, Pennsylvania. They lived in Detroit and Buffalo before settling down in Beverly Hills. Ev was an avid golfer and bridge player. She loved her life, volunteering at Cedars Sinai Hospital and playing golf and cards. Completely deaf in her last years, she played a good bridge game until the end, surprising her partners because her memory was failing.
She is survived by the family she loved, her two daughters, Andrea and Denise, and her grandchildren, Kate, Lily, Gabe and Tatiana.
We love you, mom.
