He was one of my favorite teachers. He was very kind and he happened to live down the street from us so I did babysit for his kids on occasion.

I had Mr Bonorris as a teacher in school. He was one of my favorites. He was concerned because I was not reading the chalk board very well. He told me to have my parents have my eyes checked. Sure enough I needed glasses. He also lived down the street where I lived so I babysat his children from time to time. He really was a delightful caring person. My family moved back to the Midwest so I never had a chance to see him again. His children should be very proud

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
